CLOSED: FOR THE HOLIDAYS.
SATORE'S WILL RE-OPEN ON THE SECOND OF JANUARY.

Wiping down the counter, Tonio stretched and pushed against the counter as he sighed and yawned. Rolling his shoulders, he removed his apron and put the chairs back up on the tables. The restaurant was quiet without his zia, without his cousins, without even Sal running around or filling the place up with noise. Tonio had asked to hire temporary workers or to even come with his family home for the holidays but his mother was worried. Those bastard Cancherello's had been complaining to the other Heads of the spellhouses and Tonio, until further notice, couldn't come home in case they took their complaints to him. It was bad enough he couldn't cast a spell without it backfiring, let alone banning him from his home, his city, his family.

And his family, his whole family! What had they done? Stayed with Tonio? Oh no, they'd all gone home to Venice for the great big celebrations and for the first renewal of spells of the New Year and Tonio? Tonio got to wipe down the tables and sweep the floors in an empty, closed restaurant. To keep him busy, to keep the rats out, to keep him from hopping on the first flight home or practising magic in his aunt's restaurant.

"Mannagia," Tonio swore under his breath as he put the tablet on. At least with his family away he had managed to catch up on the latest season of Board of Chairs. Tonio was quite fancying the turn that had happened with the Nark family especially young Stanza who apparently was growing into a beautiful woman. Still, despite four seasons of Board of Chairs and five of Making Good, Tonio was going stir crazy. He just had to find something (or someone) to do.



OOC: The restaurant is closed for the holidays but Tonio is very much in need of company.
